You do not need to have played before. Some of our best players picked up a stick for the first time in high school. What we will cover: • How the sport works, and what a season actually looks like • Off-season workouts this winter — when they are, what they are, and why they matter • Spring tryouts — dates, what we are looking for, and how to get ready • Equipment: what you need, what the program provides, and what it costs • Getting cleared to play — DragonFly, the sports physical, and the NCHSAA rules
